Prohibited Activities:

• Irrigation of lawns via sprinklers or automatic systems.
• Washing of vehicles, except at commercial car washes or as necessary for operator safety.
• Washing of exterior building surfaces, parking lots, driveways, or sidewalks.
  
  

Exemptions:

• New lawns and plantings during May and September.
• Irrigation of lawns, gardens, flowers, and plants using a handheld hose.
• Businesses that require water use as a core function.

This measure ensures a sustainable drinking water supply until the new iron and manganese treatment plant at the Worcester Street well site is operational.
