UPDATE: Crews have repaired the break, and all residents should have water service back on. Please remember to Flush your pipes when resuming water use. Due to the size of the break, you may also get surges of air in your lines. Running this through will assist in getting air out of your systems.
WATERMAIN BREAK: We have been notified of a watermain break in the area of Providence Rd.
We have a crew on site that are currently working looking into the issue. Residents may experience low water pressure. We are sorry for the inconvenience and are diligently working to get this resolved as soon as possible.
Limit Water Use – Try to limit water use during this time due to the watermain break.
Flush Your Pipes – Due to the break you may experience brown or discolored water. After the water main is repaired, turn on your faucets and allow water to run until clear. Start by opening the cold-water faucets, especially if you have an outdoor faucet, and allow them to run for at least 15 to 20 minutes until they run clear.
Please check back for updates.
Thank you for your patience during this time.
The Grafton Water District team.
